The Epiphone Les Paul Special II Plus Top Ltd TB does not feature the carved top, but it has a nicely figured, solid mahogany body, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard, delivering the typical Les Paul sound. The two open Alnico V humbuckers provide for the punchy sound of the Les Paul Special II Plus Top Ltd TB.
